An inter-generational dialogue and musical journey in three generations of a family: Grandmother (Gogo), Mother and Daughter who are at different stages of their musical careers. The ensuing narrative celebrates the contribution of, and explores some of the challenges faced by female singers like Miriam Makeba within the music industry in South Africa during apartheid.
