“Ingenious…a high-concept theatrical game that becomes deeply moving.”
—The New Yorker
Written by Branden Jacobs Jenkins
Directed by Autumn B. Carter
A contemporary reimagining of the medieval morality play Everyman, questioning the inevitability of death and what truly matters when life comes to an end. The play asks a simple question: When your time comes, what (or who) can you actually take with you? Using the personification of Death, God, and even Love to emphasize mortality and the thoughts that come with it, as the one experience that unites all human beings.
*Presented through IBTF’s Fringe, Collegiate Theatre Series, the production showcases the work of rising student actors.
