NC Black Rep’s founder, Larry Leon Hamlin, Mr. Marvtastic, and his wife, Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin, founded the Marvtastic Society to support the company’s vision of sustaining Black Theatre globally through the International Black Theatre Festival. The Marvtastic Society offers three levels of membership: Angel, Benefactor, and Marvastic, each with unique benefits.*

The Theatre Guild was created to serve and support NC Black seasonal productions, and later became leaders of the purple and black army that supports Black Theatre Holy Ground during IBTF.
