Mavtastic Society celebration in support of the North Carolina Black Theatre Festival

MARVTASTIC SOCIETY

Founded by Larry Leon Hamlin, affectionately known as “Mr. Marvtastic,” and Mrs. Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin, the Marvtastic Society was created to sustain Black theatre on a global stage through the work of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company and its signature outreach program, the International Black Theatre Festival.

The Marvtastic Society is a circle of champions who believe in the power of storytelling, cultural legacy, and artistic brilliance. Members play a vital role in strengthening year-round programming while also fueling the energy and impact of the International Black Theatre Festival.

With three distinct levels—Angel, Benefactor, Marvtastic, and Partner—members receive exclusive benefits, including priority access, special invitations, and enhanced experiences for both NC Black Rep season productions and International Black Theatre Festival events.
